About Mathematics Department

Welcome to the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences at the Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, Iyin-Ekiti. The department is dedicated to providing top-notch instruction in mathematical sciences while promoting a thorough comprehension of mathematical ideas, theories, and applications. Students enrolled in our program will learn about the fundamentals of mathematical processes and principles in both pure and applied mathematics, such as real analysis, algebra, differential and integral calculus, mechanics (solid, fluid, and quantum), vector analysis, complex analysis, mathematical methods, ordinary and partial differential equations, numerical analysis, topological spaces, and so on. The vision of the department is to produce high-level mathematicians who are equipped with the information required for environmental investigation through research. The department offers the B.Tech. in Mathematics program as well as services to all other Departments in the University with foundation Mathematics.
