Mr. Oluwole Olalere Dada is an experienced, consummate higher education administrator, with a rich array of experiences in Federal, State and Private Universities. He holds B.Sc. Microbiology (Second Class Upper Division) and a Master of Information Science from the University of Ibadan. He is a member of several Professional Associations and has attended conferences both locally and internationally and, through these has helped developed an extensive network of professional mentors and colleagues across the Nigerian University system.

His career as a University administrator, started at Osun State University, Osogbo as an Assistant Registrar. He rose through the ranks and was appointed a Deputy Registrar in 2017. He was on sabbatical at Bowen University, Iwo between May 2017 and April 2018. Through a competitive and rigorous exercise open to eligible candidates from all Nigerian Universities, Mr. Dada competed as an external candidate with all eligible internal and external candidates and was among the only three appointed as Deputy Registrar by the premier University, the University of Ibadan in October 2018.

Over the span of 29 years postgraduation career, the last 18 of which is in University system, he has worked in major Divisions of the Registry and left indelible marks. His dedication, selflessness, thoroughness and competence has seen him being preferred to work with Council and Management Committees.

He has also been appointed Consultant to some University for the appointment of senior University Administrators and has delivered papers both locally and nationally. He has devoted a lot of time in recent times to mentoring young administrators across the spectrum of the Nigerian University System. Mr. Dada’s experience in University administration is diverse and his understanding of the system is deep.

His passion for administration is innate and his career choices were neither accidental nor a last resort but deliberate. Across the spectrum of social relationships, Mr. Dada speaks with uncommon degree of candour. He is very confident but not conceited. He is imbued with a towering sense of responsibility even without supervision. He is a self-motivated, sociable, unassuming, apparently healthy, physically strong and intellectually sound person. He is current and updates his knowledge and professional competences through active involvement in the activities of the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA) and through participation in relevant refresher courses both in Nigeria and abroad. He is a happy family man with a deep sense of conviction and blessed with children.
