The Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, Iyin, was established by the Federal Government of Nigeria on February 20, 2025. Biochemistry as a Department was among the foundational Departments that were established in the faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences. The Department offers 42 domiciled undergraduate courses for the duration of the course, which is required for a student to graduate with a B.Tech. Biochemistry. Degree. Other compulsory criteria include participation in a SIWES and presentation of seminars. The degree awarded is B.Tech. Biochemistry.
